STEP 2.2 : LEADER UPDATES
leader updates
Leader position 18 is used for encoding the descriptive cataloging form. The default option will be to change LDR[18] from a (AACR2) to i (ISBD punctuation is included). Another option is available if you would like this position changed to c instead of i, meaning that the ISBD end of field punctuation is omitted.
Other values of LDR[18] (i.e. #, c, i, u) will not be changed. If you would like other values in the leader changed, speak with your project manager to discuss your options.
