In conjunction with the Library of Congress announcement that the 440 tag will no longer be standard, many clients have wondered what this will mean for our standard series processing. This series chart shows you exactly how each 4XX series tag will act based on it being matched, unmatched, matched and traced or untraced and so on.

This table describes how 440 series tags are handled under the new LC standard.
