NACO stands for Name Authority COoperative, and is a program run by the Library of Congress.
Participants contribute name, uniform titles, and series authority records to the Library of Congress following a common set of standards and guidelines.
NACO Training
NACO training is often considered a useful tool for Librarians and staff that will be working with Authority Records. The training is approximately 1 week and can be done at your home institution, with other institutions, or at LC.
