Automated Services
Welcome to the Backstage Library Works Automation Services Wiki. Automated services are an integral part of the library world. They allow libraries and their staff to enact positive changes to a large amount of data in a relatively short time period and usually at a much reduced cost compared to manual services. This wiki covers the following automated services: Authority Control, RDA Enrichment, and Record De-duplication.
Authority control is a key component of maintaining consistency across your collection, but it can also be a difficult to understand topic, especially if you're not familiar with all of the rules and terminology.
